“I love the one where I’m on the moon,” Eva Green remarks as she flips through her Campari calendar images with PEOPLE. “The astronaut outfit and the hairdo is really cool. And the Negroni shot, where I’m in a Vivienne Westwood courtesan outfit, has such a laid-back, romantic mood.”

The Penny Dreadful star, 34, is the face of the liqueur’s 2015 calendar, shot by Julia Fullerton-Batten and celebrating the stories behind the brand’s classic cocktails. With only 9,999 copies printed each year, the calendar never goes on sale but is instead distributed to friends of Campari.

“It’s such an iconic brand and very artistic,” Green tells PEOPLE of her decision to do the shoot. “I remember the pictures with [CELEBRITY_LINK” “” “” “0” ] – they were quite beautiful.”

Here are five things we learned about the former Bond girl (R.I.P. Vesper Lynd) while in London last week for the launch.

1. She’s a bit of an introvert.
“I’m so boring,” Green tells PEOPLE with a laugh. “I’m such a homebody. I’m not into going to parties because I never really feel comfortable. I’m a bear who lives in a cave.”

2. She has a (fraternal) twin sister.
“My sister Joy isn’t identical so it’s not as fun [as it could be]. If she looked like me … if I was really bad at math, she could go and take the test for me,” the Sin City star jokes. “Our lives are very different. She has two children, lives in Italy and has the perfect life.”

3. She’s currently hooked on True Detective.
“I’m a big fan,” says Green, although she admits that she isn’t completely clear on the “time is a flat circle” concept. “I don’t understand every single thing Rust says but I know what’s going on – the main points! I’m in awe of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson – I think they’re just so fabulous, a great couple.”

4. Her favorite vacation spot? South Africa.
“I went on safari through Kruger National Park, down there at the end of the world. It was just the most magical place – nature, animals,” she explains. “The silence … it’s like you’re waiting for a dinosaur to show up. It’s just the best thing ever.”

5. Her costars are as charming as they are cute.
“I love Harry Treadaway. He’s such a pure, innocent soul and I adore him. Josh Hartnett is so nice and also very cool,” says Green of Penny Dreadful‘s main men. “Timothy Dalton is fabulous. He’s a bit of a father figure as well – he gives me advice in real life.”
