“Taken” star Maggie Grace proudly showed off her diamond ring at the Global Green USA pre-Oscar party after revealing she is engaged to Matthew Cooke.
Grace announced the news on Instagram Wednesday, posting a romantic photo of her and writer/director Cooke gazing into each other’s eyes. She wrote, “Matthew Cooke & I are so excited to share our engagement with you guys! I could not feel more grateful to share my life with this incredible man.”
Posting a picture of herself and Cooke dressed up for Wednesday night’s bash hosted by the environmental group at Avalon Hollywood, she added, “We’re all fancied up for @globalgreen tonight so we thought — let’s ask our friend to take a fancy photo!” she captioned the pic. “Since we’ve got the photo thing covered should we just elope?!”
The couple did make it to the event without eloping, posing together on the green carpet, before mingling with stars Fran Drescher, Ashley Greene, Alysia Reiner, Billy Zane, as well as Global Green leaders including president and CEO Les McCabe.
