I can distinctly remember a friend who was in computer science showing me the Mosaic web browser on a Sun workstation, sometime in 93/94, and being amazed.
Prior to that, using ProComm to dial up to the university mainframe to access Usenet was my gateway to the Internet.
I treasure a book I have from the mid to late 90's that only contains URLs to websites.

Yeah, the first time I saw the World Wide Web was on Mosaic browser running on a Silicon Graphics workstation sometime in 1993 or 1994.

I remember the teacher in our computer sciences class in the early 90's showing us the nasa web site which took several minuets of dialling and routing to get on to. then having a project to build a web site. and the whole time thinking wtf!
Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.
With all the internet-ting I do, I'd hope to have better bar grip strength :/

A was online with a browser on my Amiga since 92 via university access.Had to use text search engine
s with Protocals called archie, veronica and gopher. Got onto private dial up isp Mindlink in 94 when I moved here.
First web I remember seeing was Dougs Humour Page. All text driven no images

I worked on a web server for Windows/NT around then. I was blown away by HTML. So simple, yet so powerful. Definitely revolutionary.
And ProComm was really good. :)
