Christian Bale reveals his youngest child couldn’t stay in his seat at the screening of the MCU film.

In a recent interview with GQ, the star recalled a time when his youngest child struggled to stay during a screening of the hit 2017 Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

When asked what had drawn him to the big mega-production like Thor: Love and Thunder, the actor told the magazine, “I was like, “This looks like an intriguing character; I might be able to do something with this, who knows?”

The 48-year-old English actor acknowledged that he liked the 2017 mega-hit Thor: Ragnarok. “I took my son to see Ragnarok,” he said. “He was climbing like a monkey all across [the seats],” the actor added.

Remembering what his seven-year-old son said during the screening of the MCU film, the actor continued, “and then he was like, “Oh, I’ve had enough now, let's get on”. I was like, “No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.”

“I was just like, “I want to finish it,” the actor concluded.

Christian Bale also revealed that it was his enjoyment of the 2017 film, Thor: Ragnarok that led him to sign on for the 2022 sequel, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Christian Bale made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut by playing the Marvel comics character Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder.

The film Thor: Love and Thunder also starred Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Tessa Thompson, and Russell Crowe. It is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
