File Description:
For Manfred Jahn's C-47 with Jan Visser's VVC, version 3.14 repaint of DDA
(Dutch Dakota Association) Classic Airlines. The only flying DC-3/C-47 in the
Netherlands at the moment. Hopefully joined by her sister (PH-DDZ) in the near
future.
The new 2018 livery of the DDA Dakota is going back to it's roots, as it royal
colours in which it flew in the '50 and '60. Now updated with the "75 years"
logo. The aircraft is 75 years old this year.
Besides the new logo, the following was updated:
- The Red colour was made a bit brighter __
- Adjustments on several locations (Reallife paint was not 100% the drawings ;-) __
- Several (small) details added on the outside, incl new prop textures __
- Several gauge bitmaps modified (most noticable the Airspeed indicator) __
- Some bitmaps of the VC modified __
For more info on the real DDA visit there site: https://www.dutchdakota.nl/en/home/
Besides the outside, the inside and the pilot's got a different look. Also
added some more details, especially at the tires and gear struts.
The VC textures are repainted to get the cockpit as much in line with the real one.
Big thanks to Manfred Jahn and his team for creating this beautiful model and
Jan Visser and his team for all the work done to improve this model even further.
Ted "TuFun" Wolfgang for the improved engine textures. For this repaint the
excellent paintkit by Gordon "Gman5250" Madison was used. Works both in FSX
and Prepar3D. Special thanks to Paul van den Berg from DDA Classic Airlines
for providing the original paint drawings and beta testing the livery.
---> Works both in FSX and Prepar3D

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Milviz DHC-2 Beaver, representing Beaver c/n 947 JZ-PAC of the NNGLM. On 14 July 1955, the company Nederlands Nieuw Guinea Luchtvaart Maatschappij (NNGLM) was established as a subsidiary of Dutch airline KLM, to provide air services within the Dutch territory of Netherlands New Guinea. This new airline, operating under the name of De Kroonduif, was based at Biak, and operated several routes throughout the territory with two de Havilland Canada Beavers. Later the fleet was also supplemented with Douglas DC-3 Dakotas and Twin Pioneers.
As Western New Guinea was being incorporated into Indonesian territory on 1 January 1963, the operations of De Kroonduif were absorbed by Indonesian airline Garuda, JZ-PAC becoming PK-GBB. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom based on the paintkit by Milviz.

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas C-54A NL-302 of the Netherlands Government Air Transport, 1945. This was originally 42-72274 of the USAAF, which was bought by the Dutch Government in 1945 in a batch of 14 C-54's. These were converted to carry passengers. Although the aircraft were carrying military markings, they were in fact carrying passengers for KLM, among others to the Dutch East Indies. Since civilian aircraft were not always permitted to fly along this route immediately after the war they wore military paint. In 1947 all aircraft were transferred to the KLM and NL-302 became PH-TAD. It later flew with several European companies with registration F-BDRJ, before being scrapped in 1965. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

The 2012 livery is in the classic KLM livery. In 2016 the KLM terminated the sponsorship of the DDA, therefore the KLM titles were removed and replace with DDA titles and logo. Which is shown in the 2016 livery.

File Description: Douglas DC-4 PH-DDS for AI. All too briefly, around 1999/2000, the Dutch Dakota Association expanded into four engined operations with the DC-4. The addition of PH-DDS to virtual skies is now possible thanks to the excellent model of the C-54/DC-4 which has been produced by Mike Pearson and Jake Burrus. This repaint by Jon Jowing; UK/Holland biased representative flightplans also included.

File Description: Thanks to a major investment in 1964 by some large Dutch shipping companies, the 1958 founded Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter, proud owner of a fleet of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove, four Douglas C-47, and one Douglas C-54B, was able to purchase from KLM one Convair 340 and one Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas aircraft. On 27 February 1964 the DC-7C PH-DSO was delivered at Schiphol. In November 1964 and May 1965 PH-DSL and PH-DSC were also bought from KLM. A fourth one, PH-MAK which has not been included in this package, was acquired from Alitalia. The great advantages of the DC-7C over the much smaller C-54B were its pressurised fuselage, its huge flying range and its payload, which was almost twice the C-54's payload. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From September 1968 till late October 1968, PH-DSL, all white with red crosses applied to the wings, fuselage and fin, flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. With the exception of PH-MAK which was sold to Spain in 1967, MAC's DC-7C's soldiered on till late 1968/early 1969 when they were sold. These are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-7C Base Pack and DC-7 Base Pack (available at http://www.calclassic.com/dc7c.htm). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud
owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and
four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The
DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or
97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was
a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October
1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from
the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf
of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was
overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to
Yugoslavia. The inspiration for this repaint was a coincidental meeting at
Schiphol I had many years ago with former Martinair Captain Dries van Ommen. He
was in command of PH-MAM during the Biafra airlift. We had a nice conversion,
accompanied by the impressive sight and sound of a DC-6 during take off. These
are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B
CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at
http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
For FS2004 and FSX.
