Description

A Japanese zebra wood tansu chest from the 19th century, with sliding doors, glass panels and secret storage. Created in Japan during the 19th century, this tansu chest features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by its zebra wood grain. A rectangular top sits above a perfectly organized façade made of four sliding doors in the upper section, opening to reveal a convenient storage space. The bottom part is made of two sliding glass doors opening to open shelves in the center.

On the left, a shelf with curving accents attracts all the attention. The lower section showcases additional sliding doors, painted in a soft green color and adorned with vases, pitchers and carafes. The sides show no décor and the back is unfinished, with a cutout compartment. With its clean lines, lovely zebra wood and convenient organization, this Japanese tansu chest from the 19th century will bring an exotic presence to any home!
