The black hue of the inner section contrasts beautifully with the red undertone of the outer structure and the exterior of the open shelf has been partially stripped of its original black lacquer. The lower part of the cabinet attracts our attention with its hand painted chinoiserie scene, presenting characters set among traditional structures.
The lighter tones of the hand painted scenes, highlighted with orange accents, stand out beautifully on the dark brown color of the cabinet.
