Anna Faris’ first book has her feeling “really, really nervous” because of its “intimate” content.

“I’m excited and when I first got the book deal, I thought, ‘What a great adventure this is going to be,’ and now that it’s getting closer, I feel nervous in a sense that I’ve always been able to hide behind characters. And now it’s like, this is me. It feels a little scary,” she said during the latest episode of Anna Faris Is Unqualified.

Faris’ book, also titled Anna Faris Is Unqualified, is a mix of anecdotes and advice. It received extra attention after Faris and husband Chris Pratt — who wrote the book’s foreword — announced their separation in August. The book is slated for an Oct. 24 release and apparently still targeting that date. (Faris’ podcast producer Sim Sarna noted it’s available for pre-order now.)

Faris further explained on the podcast that her book follows her beginnings as “a really quiet kid with headgear” to “suddenly being an actress in L.A. and sort of how I haven’t felt comfortable in my own skin, and learning to do that.”

She added, “Dear listeners: I would love it so much if you picked up my book. But please know, I am so scared. I feel like leaving the country for a little while. I’m breaking into a sweat.”

Anna Faris Is Unqualified is set to arrive in stores Oct. 24.
