Now, it seems, it’s Caroline’s turn. “She’s going to have to choose,” said Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler, when we caught up with him on the Atlanta set recently. “At the end of the day I know she wants to be with Tyler, but there is something intriguing about being with Klaus and how powerful he is.” While Trevino thinks there’s something brewing between Caroline and Klaus, co-star Candice Accola isn’t quite as convinced. “I still think it’s hilarious fans want Caroline and Klaus together,” she said. “They’re so different.” (Hey, opposites attract right?) Joseph Morgan, on the other hand, is more optimistic about the pairing. And he has good reason to be. If last week’s episode was any indication, it looks like Caroline and Tyler’s relationship will be tested by the arrival of his friend (and possible old flame), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). “Caroline is a little concerned with Hayley being in town,” said Tonkin, who described her character as a free spirit. “But she wants to trust Tyler.” A jealous Caroline?
