about
I don't know if any of you out there are history buffs, but there was once a nasty man named Adolf Hitler. I personally don't care for him at all, but I learnt he had a dog (nobody's all bad). I figured his dog, seeing as all dogs are inherently pure, would find an issue with his political standing. This is this dog's anthem.
lyrics
Adolf, I hope you know, that I think you’re the greatest guy there is
I love the way you paint and preserve German heritage
But if you could just ease the war crimes, maybe we could both get along
And I could say out loud, with a puppy’s pride, that my Hitler’s done nothing wrong
Why don’t you expand your party, invite a few of the SNP?
You could treat those minorities with half the kindness that you treat me
I know I only have dog’s eyes, but I know things aren’t so black and white
Tell me, how with any good conscience, can I sleep at your feet at night?
Just know I’m your biggest fan, I love your Volksgemeinschaft policies
But try as I might and forget about the Holocaust entirely
I know my role in my life as your dog is to be your best friend
But you could make the whole thing easy on me if you could bring World War II to an end
