Gallotia stehlini reaches an average body length (head and bonfire) of 26.5 cm,a tail length of up to 50 cm and a maximum weight of 500 g.The body has a reddish brown to dark gray on the top.On the sides,several bright spots can occur.The mountains on the back have a clear keel.The males are characterized by a more reddish throat.They are even larger and have a more robust head than the females.
