Let’s just say that Sin City: A Dame To Kill for did not do well this past weekend. The film debuted eighth at the box office, was panned by the critics and only took home a measly $6.5 million. That said, there’s one thing about the film that people liked: Eva Green.
Eva Green has been seducing audiences with her poise, glamour and intellectual sex appeal ever since she appeared in the controversial film, The Dreamers, in 2003. She soon was snapped up by Hollywood and over the years, she’s made a name for herself playing likable femme fatales. So, you don’t need to go and pay to see Sin City: A Dame To Kill to see Green play a hypnotically-alluring seductress. Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
Ridley Scott was the first Hollywood heavyweight to cast the French actress in a major role. He made Green the gorgeous, but sad, Christian princess Sibylla in his sumptuous rumination on the Crusades, Kingdom of Heaven.

Casino Royale (2006)
Eva Green cemented her place in cinema history when she played the original Bond girl, Vesper Lynd, in the franchise’s glorious reboot, Casino Royale. Like all great film noir vixens, Green is able to combine strength and vulnerability in such an intoxicating measure that you’re never sure if you can trust her or not.

Cracks (2012)
Cracks is one of Green’s lesser known films, but if it’s well worth the watch if you’ve ever wanted to see Eva Green play a glamorous teacher at an all-girls boarding school who may or may not be sexually preying upon one of her students. It’s also streaming on Netflix.

Dark Shadows (2012)
Eva Green went toe-to-toe with Johnny Depp in Tim Burton’s wonderfully wacky remake of Dark Shadows — a film my colleague, Tyler Coates, describes as “The Ice Storm but with vampires and werewolves and witches.”
