Grenadines Day Excursions

Make the most of your Grenadines vacation by joining an action packed day trip. These excursions offer riders the possibility to explore all the best kite spots in the surrounding islands. Trips depart from Union Island at 8am and return at 6pm in the evening and include all drinks, gourmet lunch and kite surveillance.

For upwind riders only, advanced coaching and rescue included. These itineraries all offer quality kite conditions as well as downwinders with supervision.

Option 1

Tobago Cays Kite Spots

Tobago Cays | mayreau | Palm island

  • 8am – departure from union. Hoist the sails and set off for a 1 hour journey to the Tobago Cays
  • 9am – Start the day swimming with the turtles and rays
  • 10 am – set up your gear on one of the uninhabited islands. The Tobago Cays offers a spectacular kiting zone with fluorescent turquoise water and waves on its outer reef .
  • 12pm – gourmet lunch on the boat
  • 2pm – downwinder behind the catamaran to Mayreau
  • 3pm – refreshment on board in salt whistle bay, relax on the best beach in the Grenadines
  • 4pm – kite in Mayreau lagoon and then follow the catamaran back to palm island
  • 6pm – return to union island for a sundown cocktail

Option 2

Kite spot Tobago Cays

Canouan | Tobago Cays | Palm Island

  • 8 am – departure from union, hoist the sails and set off to Canouan (1.5hrs)
  • 10am – launch off beach or catamaran – kite in spectacular deserted lagoon with waves on the reef
  • 12.30 – Gourmet lunch on the boat
  • 2pm – downwind kite session to Tobago Cays behind the catamaran
  • 3pm – refreshments at anchor in the Tobago cays marine park,
  • 3.30pm – snorkeling with turtles and rays
  • 4.30pm – kite in the Cays followed by downwind kite session to palm island wave spot
  • 6.00pm – return to union Island for a sunset cocktail

Option 3

Fregate Island Kite Spots

Fregate | Morpion | Tobago Cays | Palm Island

  • 8 am – departure from Union, launch from kite beach and downwind behind the cat to Fregate.
  • 9am – refreshment on the boat
  • 9.30 – kite session in this ultra flat freestyle spot.
  • 12 pm – gourmet lunch on board the catamaran
  • 2pm – set sail for Morpion island
  • 3pm – snorkeling on Morpion reef
  • 4pm – kite session on Morpion followed by island crossing to Palm island
  • 6pm – return to union for a sunset cocktail

Beginner Packages 350 Euro / Person

Suitable for complete beginners and riders unable to keep upwind. Includes 3 hours of beginner lessons.

Option 1

Fregate flat water Kitesurf spot in Union Island

Fregate | Morpion | Palm Island

  • 8 am – depart from union island, host the sails and head for Fregate island
  • 9am – beginner lessons with safety boat in this flat water spot.
  • 12 pm – gourmet lunch on board
  • 2pm – hoist the sails and head off for Morpion island
  • 3pm – snorkelling on Morpion reef and relax on this tiny desert island
  • 4.30pm – hoist the sails and return to palm island,
  • 6pm – return to union for a sunset cocktail

Option 2

Catamaran anchored in Mayreau Lagoon

Mayreau | Tobago Cays | Palm Island

  • 8am – depart from Union Island. Hoist the sails and head off for Mayreau.
  • 9am – beginner lessons in Mayreau lagoon with safety boat
  • 12am – gourmet lunch on board in salt whistle bay
  • 2pm – set sail for Tobago Cays
  • 3pm – anchor in the cays marine park and snorkel with the turtles and rays in the lagoon
  • 5pm – set sail for palm island
  • 6pm – return to union for a sunset cocktail
