This 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is one of 172 lightweight examples built for the US market during a one-year production run. Finished in Giallo Midas over black Alcantara upholstery, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 mated with a six-speed E-Gear automated transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes 19″ forged wheels, a front-axle lift system, a carbon-fiber “high” rear wing, a Lamborghini Newport Beach exhaust, carbon-fiber door panels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an infotainment system with navigation. The car was first registered in Florida and spent time in several states before it was acquired by the seller in 2022. This Gallardo Superleggera has 22k miles and is now offered in Nevada with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, a battery tender, service records, two keys, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Dakota title.
The Superleggera is equipped with a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, rear decklid, mirror housings, and side skirts in addition to a thinner windshield and polycarbonate in place of various standard glass panels. This example is finished in Giallo Midas and features an optional carbon-fiber “high” rear wing and black side stripes with Superleggera script. Paint chips are located on the right side skirt, the right-side corner of the rear diffuser is damaged, the underside of the front bumper cover is scraped, and blemishes are visible on the engine cover.
Factory 19″ forged Scorpius wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with 2021 date codes. Braking is handled by black-finished multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The ride height is said to have been recently lowered on the factory coilovers, and blemishes are noted on the wheels.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black Alcantara with yellow accents and Superleggera embroidery on the bolsters. Equipment includes carbon-fiber door panels and center console trim, door sill plates with Superleggera script, dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows, and an infotainment system with a rear-view camera and navigation. An air conditioning pressure switch was replaced in May 2022.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features carbon-fiber trim and fronts white-dial instrumentation that includes a 210-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A three-gauge panel mounted atop the dashboard includes readouts for oil pressure, oil temperature, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added by the seller.
The 5.0-liter V10 was factory rated at 523 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed E-Gear automated transaxle.
A Lamborghini Newport Beach (LNB) exhaust system is said to have been fitted. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Missouri, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Montana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Nevada. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
