This Honda Civic (1972-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1976 Honda Civic CVCC reportedly spent much of its life in Arizona before being acquired by the seller in Idaho in 2011. The car has since been modified with a 1.6-liter D16Z6 inline-four from a 1994 Honda Civic, as well as a five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential from a Honda CRX Si. It is finished in yellow with a black interior, and additional modifications are said to include an aftermarket 4-1 exhaust header, disc brakes, BCR coilovers, Cipher front seats, and more detailed below. This Civic is now offered in Florida with a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is said to have been refinished in yellow under previous ownership, and aftermarket mirrors have been added. Noted issues include runs in the paint, an area of surface rust on the lower rear valance, and bubbling on the roof seam.

The wheel hubs are said to have been converted to a 4×100 bolt pattern, and 14″ Honda “phone dial” wheels were sourced from a later Civic. The front disc brakes, brake booster, and master cylinder are said to be from a 1992 Honda CRX Si. Rear disc brakes from a Honda Prelude have also been added, along with BCR coilovers and polyurethane bushings.

Black cloth Cipher racing seats with red inserts are joined by a black vinyl rear bench. Faux-wood accents the dash, and a JVC CD player has been fitted underneath. A second fuse box has also been installed, and the seller notes that the seat belt stops are inoperable.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and an aftermarket wideband air-fuel ratio gauge mounted on the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows just over 65k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
