Bumblebees in the Arctic? You better bee-lieve it!

Then, give us a visit and check out the 3 species of Arctic and alpine bumblebees in our exhibit on the Crocker Land Expedition (1913-1917). One of the species on exhibit, B. hyperboreus, actually parasitizes the colonies of B. polaris to reproduce.
