Anniversary hike in Abisko
| Somehow I find it strange, that Kiellastjåkka and Kåtotjåkka, being the highest summits in each of their massifs, are situated opposed to each other on either side of Alesvagge. Almost like two sentinels guarding the valley, and therefore it was obvious that in those days I had to pat the summit of Kåtotjåkka, a mountain I viewed for the first time when hiking the upper Alesvagge in 1980. I just had to look at bit closer on this mountain, and the next year I made the detour to reconnoitre an ascent route, until finally in 1982 I actually climbed the mountain, an ascent I today still gladly remember.
