Inspired by a tapestry on display at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, this piece was designed as an environmental wake up call. Made from rope, twine, burlap, and water-colored book pages.

Inspired by the audacious silliness of cheap, grocery-store romance novels, this piece was made from book pages, speaker wire, and mirrors.

Made from dried acrylic paint skins, this piece explores the nature of decay through the juxtaposition of organic forms and a synthetic material.

Inspired by Gustav Klimt’s painting Death and Life, this piece is made from candy wrappers, parchment paper, and emergency blankets.
