A ligation device includes (1) a flexible outer tube which can be inserted through a channel ol an insertion tube ol the endoscope, (2) a flexible inner tube provided in the outer tube, (3) a ring which is made ol an elastic material and is provided to a periphery ol the inner tube, and (4) an manipulator which moves the outer tube with respect to the inner tube, so that the outer tube pushes the ring out ol the inner tube.
