Description

CLEANING DENTAL BRUSH HEAD
Technical field
The present invention relates to structural elements of toothbrushes, in particular, to cleaning heads of toothbrushes.
State of the art
Known cleaning heads of the most common manual toothbrushes [http://www.oral-b.ru/], consisting of a bearing base on which nylon bristles are mounted. The bristles can be directed perpendicular to the plane of the base or obliquely. Along the lateral edges of the cleaning head several separate villi of elastic material can be made. For example, in the model of the Oral-Bssss Аssiop Vitalizer toothbrush, on the edges of the base with a nylon bristle, 4 villi each made of 2 mm diameter elastomer are arranged independently of each other at a distance of 3 mm, and the nylon bristle itself is cut figured at different levels.
The curly brushing of the bristles, used by most manufacturers of toothbrushes, allows, in their opinion, to make the bristles adaptive to the relief of the dentition. Longer bristles should penetrate the interdental spaces and clean them. However, in reality, it is the presence of these bundles of long bristles that makes the cleaning head more traumatic for the gums, facilitates the opening of the gingival pocket and the introduction of infection into its depths. At the same time, rare fibers from elastomer covering only part of the bristles along the perimeter do not prevent the strong bending of its long threads and their penetration into the SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) gingival pocket. Separate elastomer fibers are designed to massage the gums. However, in reality they are too soft, flexible and rare to fit this purpose.
The closest in technical essence and the problem to be solved is the cleaning head for a toothbrush [RF patent JVb 60343], containing a supporting base and a polymer bristle fixed on it, which is concentrated in the central part of the base, and combined into a continuous mesh along the perimeter of the base the structure is hollow villi of elastomer with holes at the free end, and the villi have different lengths and the depth of the holes is 1-7 mm, mainly 3-5 mm In addition, the holes can have an oval, rectangular, sectoral or hexagonal cross-section, and holes of different shapes, sizes and depths can be simultaneously present in the cellular structure.
Said cleaning head actually injures the gums less than all other known cleaning heads with nylon bristles. An elastic cellular structure in the form of a barrier of villi protects the nylon bristles, not allowing it to go too far beyond the elastic edges, which prevents its penetration into the gingival pocket. But due to the tight connection of the base of the cleaning head and the bristles, there remains the possibility of its excessively high pressure on the gums due to excessive pressure on the brush by hand. It is known that during brushing, a person usually tries to press a section of the bristles of the cleaning head against the teeth and gums. But the problem is that it is almost impossible to control the force of the bristle hold during hand cleaning because of the need
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) do reciprocating movements simultaneously. Therefore, the force of the clip varies very significantly and damage to the gums still occurs.
Disclosure of invention
The present invention is intended to provide a radical reduction in the trauma of the cleaning head of the toothbrush by endowing the bristles of the cleaning head with the property of real adaptability to the relief of the dentition and maintaining gentle pressure on the gums, regardless of the force of pressure by hand.
The problem is solved by the fact that a cleaning head for a toothbrush is proposed, consisting of a supporting base, along the perimeter of which there is a barrier of elastic material with fibers or cells, and in the center of the base there is a bristle fixed on a separate platform, which is installed elastically movably relative to the bearing grounds.
In this case, one part of the bristles can be mounted on a moving platform, and the other part on a supporting base.
In addition, there can be several moving areas with bristles.
In addition, an elastomer membrane can be used to provide elastic mobility to the bristle pad.
2,Also, the bristles on different moving areas can be made of different polymeric materials. The main elements of the proposed cleaning head for a toothbrush are the supporting base 1, inside which one or more movable platforms 5 with bristles 2 are installed,
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) - A - and fixed along the perimeter of the bearing base 1, an elastic barrier 3 with villi 4. Moreover, each movable platform is spring-loaded from the side of the opposite bristle with a spring or membrane 6 of elastomer. The proposed cleaning head for a toothbrush operates as follows.
In the process of brushing your teeth, an elastic barrier with villi is a limiter to the approach of the cleaning head in the surface being cleaned. In addition, when the cleaning head is pressed against the surface of the enamel, the elastic villi are firmly pressed against the tooth enamel or gum and massage the gums. The bristles, located on moving platforms, go inside the cleaning head and exert pressure on the surface to be cleaned, which is determined not by the human hand, but only by the force of the spring located behind the moving platforms, or, in the case of using an elastic membrane, its elasticity. The softer the spring or membrane, the correspondingly lower the bristle pressure on the surface being cleaned. Thus, no matter how a person presses a cleaning head against his teeth and gums during brushing, he will not be able to damage the gums. The bristles will move away and hide inside the elastic barrier, preventing excessive pressure on the gums. In addition, the use of even stiff bristles, which in ordinary cleaning heads severely damage the gums, in the proposed head gives only a positive effect - increases the cleaning efficiency and extends the life of the cleaning head. It should be noted that mobile platforms can not only move along
