Definitions

  • This invention Pertains to a toothbrush used in attaining proper oral hygiene, with less effort. From my experience in dentistry, I see the need for a toothbrush that is more efficient and easier for a child to use.
  • the teeth form an arch with an adult having, up to 32 teeth, each tooth has 5 sides to clean, some have high palatals, while others may have a wide tongue to contend with. All these can make a difficult task of brushing, as the average brush can not easily reach tight spaces, such as, around last molars and linguals, especially for someone with a small mouth.

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention Pertains to a toothbrush used in attaining proper oral hygiene, with less effort. From my experience in dentistry, I see the need for a toothbrush that is more efficient and easier for a child to use. [0004]
  • Children have the most trouble getting their teeth clean easily, with ordinary child size toothbrushes, as many are too small, lacking in bristle space. A child can have permanent teeth by age 6, which is usually a posterior molar, primary teeth so tiny, but very important to maintain as permanent teeth erupt. [0006]
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of this invention is to provide a tooth-brush that can streamline brushing efforts for all. The specific structural improvement this toothbrush has, will significantly enhance our brushing regime. [0007]
  • For children this brush offers a broader bristle span, enabling them to clean their entire mouth more efficiently. While the unique contoured shape will allow them to easily gain access to hard to reach areas, and may even encourage longer brushing. Most importantly, this brush can help greatly, for a child to acquire proper brushing habits. [0008]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
  • FIG. 1 is the brush turned to the left, showing the twist to the left. FIG. 2 shows the brush face up, with the twist to the left. FIG. 3 is the brush turned to the right, with twist to the left. FIG. 4 shows the brush face up, with the twist to the left.[0009]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention modifys the toothbrush head, with a structural improvement. As shown in FIG. 1, by placing this twist, within the bristle area, the head takes a new shape, which prior to this, had always been straight. FIG. 2, shows the bristles conforming to the curvature, allowing the brush to gain more space. FIG. 3, shows the unique crook at the tip of the brush, which will allow access to tight spaces, in the mouth. [0010]
  • I chose to highlight the left curve, in these brushes, not to diminish the right curve, but the left curve will be most preferred, as it is more comfortable to a right-handed person. [0011]

Claims (2)
