This invention relates to a tooth cleaning brush and gum massaging device made of rubber and is especially adapted for the use of children.

The main object of the invention is to provide a device of this kind having means to clean the teeth and separate means to massage the gums.

Another object of the invention is to provide a means at the end of the brush handle to clean the spaces between the teeth.

A further object of the invention is to provide a longitudinal reinforcing rod for stifiening the brush and handle.

Other objects will appear as the disclosure progresses. The drawing is intended to merely indicate a possible embodiment of the invention. It is obvious that the actual needs of manufacture may necessitate certain mechanical changes. It is therefore not intended to limit the invention to the embodiment illustrated but rather to define such limits in the appended claims.

It will thus be seen that I have provided a simple and eflicient brush for the purpose 55 specified. The brush can cleaned and sterilized without being in way damaged.

Having described my invention, I claim 1. In a brush of the class described, the combination of a handle, of a disk at the out- 60 side of said handle, and a series of pointed teeth on the periphery of said disk for cleaning the crevices between the teeth of the user.

2. In a brush of the class described, the combination of a handle, of a disk at the 65 outside end of said handle, said disk having bevelled sides, and a series of pointed teeth on the periphery of said disk for cleaning the crevices between the teeth of the user.

Figure 1 is a top view of the brush.

Referring now to the drawing in detail, numeral 1 designates the handle, 2 the brush foundation and 3 the brush bristles for cleaning the teeth. On the side of the foundation opposite to the brush bristles is a set of triangular shaped teeth 4 used for massaging the gums. At the outside end of the handle is a disk 5, having bevelled sides and provided with a series of pointed teeth 6 on its periphery. The purpose of the teeth 6 is to clean the crevices between the teeth of the user.

Passing through the center of the brush is a rod 7 having an eye 8 at the end adjacent the disk 5. Registering with this eye is a hole 9 passing through the handle. The purpose of this hole is to provide'means for hanging up the brush on a nail or hook.
