Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for processing the surface of traffic areas with the aid of a motor-driven roller which can be rotated about an essentially horizontal axis and which carries processing elements which act on its surface on the surface to be processed, the roller being mounted in a carrier the one, preferably the seen in the direction of movement, front end on the frame of the device, which is supported on the traffic surface, preferably by wheels, is pivotally mounted about an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the roller and the other, preferably its rear end with at least one on the frame the device supported actuator is coupled.
- DE-B-1 759 622 discloses a roller brush which is supported by a hydraulic power cylinder on a frame connected to a power cylinder. Valves provided in the hydraulic lines to the power cylinder ensure that this power cylinder is acted upon with pressure medium such that the power cylinder relieves the roller brush of the weight of the supporting unit and the roller brush itself. An overflow valve can also be used to measure the pressure in the power cylinder in such a way that only part of the weight is balanced and the roller brush is pressed against the traffic area.
- DE-B-1 759 622 balances the aforementioned the weight is not achieved by a piston of a pressure medium motor which can be acted upon from two sides.
- the roller brush is supported by the lever arm carrying it by a pressure medium motor which is only pressurized on one side with pressure medium. An air bubble is assigned to this pressure medium motor so that it acts as an actuator.
- DE-C-434 407 describes a suspension for a sweeping roller to which a double flat spring is assigned, which has the task of balancing the weight of the roller, for which purpose adjusting screws are provided.
- GB-C-1 183 575 shows a sweeping device in which the roller brush is supported by pneumatic cylinders and can be lifted off the traffic area. By adjusting the pressure acting on the pneumatic cylinder, the contact pressure of the roller brush against the surface of the traffic area can be adjusted.
- the invention has for its object to improve the known devices of the type mentioned in such a way that the adjustment of the height orientation of the roller relative to the surface of the traffic surface to be processed is easily possible and that the roller simultaneously acts on the surface with the necessary contact pressure.
- this object is achieved in that the roller relative to the frame of the device by at least one actuator, which is designed as a pressure medium motor, which can be acted upon with a pressure medium, in particular compressed air with preselectable, constant pressure, at the desired altitude relative to the traffic area to be processed is held that the pressure medium motor serving as an actuator can be acted upon with the pressure medium via a memory for the pressure medium with preselectable, constant pressure, that the end of the carrier, on which the actuator acts, is guided up and down on the frame of the device and that the roller can be tilted about an axis which is perpendicular to its axis and is oriented essentially horizontally.
- two actuators acting in opposite directions are provided, which are designed as pressure medium motors (or as a double-acting pressure medium motor), a particularly simple adjustment of the roller is possible.
- the pressure medium motor acting from bottom to top presses the roller from bottom to top and thus first determines the height of the roller relative to the frame of the device and thus to the traffic area.
- the pressure medium motor that acts simultaneously on the roller from top to bottom brings about the final height alignment of the roller and the combination of both pressure medium motors ultimately keeps the roller in a floating position when working on the traffic area.
- the roller With the device according to the invention it is thus possible to keep the roller fully movable in any desired immersion depth, regardless of its chassis, so that the roller can adapt very well to surface unevenness and the risk of undesired destruction of the surface, e.g. B. if only deposits are to be removed from it, is avoided. Even when removing traffic areas, a uniform removal depth is ensured due to the design of the device according to the invention.
- the memory provided according to the invention serves to keep the contact pressure constant even in the event of uneven floors, so that the set floating position of the roller is maintained even when driving over uneven floors. This effect is explained below:
- a further improvement in the adaptation of the roller of the device according to the invention to unevenness in the traffic area compared to the sweeping rollers contained in the prior art results from the fact that the roller can be tilted about an axis perpendicular to its axis.
- This additional tiltability of the roller transversely to its axis of rotation, i. H. transverse to its direction of movement over the traffic area to be processed the roller is movably supported in all directions according to the invention and nevertheless maintains the desired height orientation relative to the surface of the traffic area to be processed.
- the actuator (s) which carry the roller is (are) designed as a pressure medium motor which is acted upon by pressure medium (compressed air) with the interposition of a memory for the pressure medium, there is the advantage that Setting faster and easier than, for example, when using coil springs.
- the invention further relates to a roller brush for working on traffic areas, in particular to cover surfaces such as dirt, snow, ice, paint, rubber abrasion or the like from the surface thereof. to be removed, with a brush core, on which, if necessary, processing elements provided on holding parts are fastened via holders provided on the outer circumference of the brush core, if necessary, so as to be pivotable about axes parallel to the brush axis.
- Round brushes (roller brushes) are known in a wide variety of embodiments.
- the bristle tufts are articulated on an essentially cylindrical carrier body (brush core), with no preferred pivot axis of the bristle tufts.
- DE-C-286 512 shows a round brush, in which the tufts of bristles are attached to the brush body so that they can pivot in all directions.
- DE-C-352 183 describes a round brush serving as a matte brush, in which tufts of bristles are attached to a carrier part so that they can be pivoted in any direction over several rings.
- a roller brush for track construction machines is known from Austrian patent application 100/84 published on February 15, 1985, in which tubular broaching arms are attached to the brush core by a Kelmm screw connection.
- the tubular clearing arms are to be made of flexible material and have at their radially outer end no configuration preventing increased wear.
- the bristle tufts are not movably supported about defined pivot axes.
- roller brushes A disadvantage of all these known roller brushes is that comparatively long bristles (processing elements) are used which are designed to be correspondingly elastic and therefore not very wear-resistant.
- the known round brushes have the disadvantage that a compromise between abrasion resistance and the elastic properties of the bristles required for the intended use of the round brush must be sought when selecting the material for the bristles.
- Holding parts for machining elements of roller brushes are known from EP-A 0 172 157.
- the invention has for its object to provide a roller brush to which the processing elements or their holding parts, in particular holding parts of the type known from EP-A 0 172 157, can be easily attached, the brush elements or the processing elements provided on holding parts of such roller brushes should be easy to replace. The replacement of the processing elements becomes necessary after the wear thereof or when the equipment of roller brushes is to be adapted to the particular application of the roller brush.
- This roller brush should be able to be used advantageously in a device according to one or more of claims 1 to 24.
- brackets are designed as retaining strips running in the longitudinal direction of the axis of the roller brush, which are connected to the radially outer circumferential surface of the brush core by screws, gluing, welding or the like.
- the holders are not used in axially parallel grooves of the roller brush, but are simply provided on their outer peripheral surface. This considerably simplifies the replacement of the processing elements because the fastening points of the holding strips or the connection between the holding strips and the processing elements are more accessible.
- the roller brush according to the invention there is a much simpler construction of the brush core thereof, because longitudinal grooves in the outer peripheral surface thereof are no longer required.
- the retaining strips are detachably connected to the brush core by means of screws, the screws preferably being Allen screws with lock nuts.
- a particularly good fit of the holding strips on the roller core is achieved if the holding strips have surfaces which are concave and lie on the brush core in accordance with the curvature of the brush core. It is preferably provided that the radius of curvature of the surface of the retaining strips resting on the brush core is smaller than the radius of the outer peripheral surface of the brush core. This configuration ensures a particularly secure and play-free connection between the holding strips and the brush core, without it being necessary that the radii of curvature of the surface of the holding strips resting on the roller core must correspond exactly to the curvature of the outer surface of the brush core.
- the holding strips have outwardly facing, spaced-apart projections, the holes aligned parallel to the axis of the roller brush for receiving an attachment axis for the processing elements have elements or their holding parts.
- this embodiment achieves a particularly simple connection between machining elements or their holding parts and the brush core, in which the machining elements can be pivotally held about axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the brush.
- an axially outermost extension of the retaining strip from the outside, essentially U-shaped bracket is provided at one end of the fastening axis and that a threaded part and a nut screwed onto it are provided at the other end of the fastening axis.
- This configuration ensures that the fastening axis is connected to the holding strip in a particularly secure manner and, moreover, a simple connection between the holding strip and the fastening axis is achieved.
- mutually adjacent retaining strips are connected to the brush core in the longitudinal direction of the same. This embodiment achieves in a particularly simple manner that the processing elements fastened to adjacent holding bars are arranged offset in the direction of the axis of the roller brush, which is of particular advantage for the effectiveness of the roller brush (see also AT-B-366 126). .
- roller core of the roller brush according to the invention is not primarily essential for the invention. However, it is preferred if the brush core is designed as a continuous tube.
- This embodiment which allows a special stability of the roller core and thus a correspondingly weaker dimensioning of the holding strips, is preferably characterized in that longitudinal grooves are provided on the inner surface of the brush core, into which grooves provided on a drive shaft for the roller brush are provided. engage longitudinal ribs.
- the brush core is formed by spaced rings.
- the retaining strips are screwed directly to the rings.
- the rings are connected to one another by longitudinal connecting strips, the holding strips lying on the radially outer surfaces of the connecting strips being connected to them.
- roller brush or its brush core to the drives and bearings assigned to it
- couplings for connecting the same to a drive motor or the bearings of the roller brush can be provided on the end faces of the brush core.
- the roller brush can be pushed onto a correspondingly dimensioned drive shaft equipped with driving elements that ensure a positive connection to the core of the roller brush.
- the invention further relates to a brush element with a processing element, which is connected via a holding part to the brush core of a roller brush, the processing element being fastened to the holding part in a slot in a radially outer head of the holding part.
- This brush element is characterized in that the processing element is a plate made of hard material, for. B. hard metal, which is fastened in a substantially fork-shaped carrier, for. B. is soldered, which is connected to the head of the holding part.
- the slot provided in the head of the holding part is undercut and the part of the processing element inserted into the slot is correspondingly positioned opposite one another. This improves the hold of the processing element in the holding part. It is preferred that the part of the processing element inserted into the slot has a rib pointing forward in relation to the direction of rotation.
- the brush element according to the invention is preferably characterized in that the carrier is connected to the head of the holding part by at least one screw, a rivet or the like.
- the stress on the screw or the like can be reduced according to the invention in that the shaft of the screw, rivet or the like which fixes the machining element in the head of the holding part has a smaller diameter than the hole in the machining element.
- the brush element according to the invention will be designed so that the forked part of the carrier, in which the machining element made of hard material is received, protrudes over the head of the holding part.
- the brush element according to the invention is characterized in that the carrier is asymmetrical in side view, the plate serving as the processing element being arranged symmetrically essentially to the plane of the surface of the carrier from which the cranked tine part extends.
- the processing element is arranged obliquely in the carrier, preferably with a free edge pointing obliquely forward with respect to the direction of rotation.
- the machining element is intended for ablative machining (e.g. to remove rubber debris), it is advisable to make the front surface of the carrier of the machining element concave in relation to the direction of rotation.
- FIGS. 1 to 5 The embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 has a frame 1 which is supported by a rear pair of wheels 1 and a pair of front, steerable wheels 3 on the surface 4 of the traffic area 5 to be processed.

In devices of this type, which are used, for example, to remove dirt, snow, ice, rubber abrasion or markings from traffic areas or which serve to remove the surface of traffic areas, the correct orientation of the roller or its processing elements is relative to that to be processed Surface is a problem.
Bei der DE-B-1 759 622 wird das vorerwähnte Ausbalancieren des Gewichtes nicht durch einen von zwei Seiten her beaufschlagbaren Kolben eines Druckmittelmotors erreicht.DE-B-1 759 622 discloses a roller brush which is supported by a hydraulic power cylinder on a frame connected to a power cylinder. DE-B-1 759 622 balances the aforementioned the weight is not achieved by a piston of a pressure medium motor which can be acted upon from two sides.
In DE-C-855 123, too, the roller brush is supported by the lever arm carrying it by a pressure medium motor which is only pressurized on one side with pressure medium. An air bubble is assigned to this pressure medium motor so that it acts as an actuator.
In der DE-C-434 407 wird eine Aufhängung für eine Kehrwalze beschrieben, der eine Doppelflachfeder zugeordnet ist, welche die Aufgabe hat, das Gewicht der Walze auszugleichen, wozu Stellschrauben vorgesehen sind.DE-C-434 407 describes a suspension for a sweeping roller to which a double flat spring is assigned, which has the task of balancing the weight of the roller, for which purpose adjusting screws are provided.
Durch Einstellen des die Pneumatikzylinder beaufschlagenden Druckes kann der Anpreßdruck der Walzenbürste gegen die Oberfläche der Verkehrsfläche eingestellt werden.GB-C-1 183 575 shows a sweeping device in which the roller brush is supported by pneumatic cylinders and can be lifted off the traffic area. By adjusting the pressure acting on the pneumatic cylinder, the contact pressure of the roller brush against the surface of the traffic area can be adjusted.
It is common to all known devices that an attempt is made to support the roller by means of suitable measures and thus to adjust its pressure on the traffic area, for which purpose its weight is more or less "balanced". None of the leads teaches the idea of holding a roller brush at a predetermined height in relation to the traffic area.
The invention has for its object to improve the known devices of the type mentioned in such a way that the adjustment of the height orientation of the roller relative to the surface of the traffic surface to be processed is easily possible and that the roller simultaneously acts on the surface with the necessary contact pressure.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the roller relative to the frame of the device by at least one actuator, which is designed as a pressure medium motor, which can be acted upon with a pressure medium, in particular compressed air with preselectable, constant pressure, at the desired altitude relative to the traffic area to be processed is held that the pressure medium motor serving as an actuator can be acted upon with the pressure medium via a memory for the pressure medium with preselectable, constant pressure, that the end of the carrier, on which the actuator acts, is guided up and down on the frame of the device and that the roller can be tilted about an axis which is perpendicular to its axis and is oriented essentially horizontally.
In the device according to the invention, it is possible to precisely adapt the roller to the respective requirements of its use and, at the same time, to set the contact pressure of the roller to the desired value.
This is done when using a single-acting pneumatic cylinder as an actuator in such a way that it is pressurized with compressed air to such an extent that the stationary roller is just not lifted. Only when the roller rotates is it lifted under the action of the processing elements acting on the surface to be processed and does it enter a floating position which adapts particularly well to uneven floors.
Since it is possible with the device according to the invention to keep the roller fully movable regardless of its chassis at any desired immersion depth, a uniform removal depth is ensured even when removing traffic areas.
Characterized in that according to one embodiment of the invention two actuators acting in opposite directions are provided, which are designed as pressure medium motors (or as a double-acting pressure medium motor), a particularly simple adjustment of the roller is possible. The pressure medium motor acting from bottom to top presses the roller from bottom to top and thus first determines the height of the roller relative to the frame of the device and thus to the traffic area. The pressure medium motor that acts simultaneously on the roller from top to bottom brings about the final height alignment of the roller and the combination of both pressure medium motors ultimately keeps the roller in a floating position when working on the traffic area.
With the device according to the invention it is thus possible to keep the roller fully movable in any desired immersion depth, regardless of its chassis, so that the roller can adapt very well to surface unevenness and the risk of undesired destruction of the surface, e.g. B. if only deposits are to be removed from it, is avoided. Even when removing traffic areas, a uniform removal depth is ensured due to the design of the device according to the invention.
Dieser Effekt wird im folgenden erläutert:The memory provided according to the invention serves to keep the contact pressure constant even in the event of uneven floors, so that the set floating position of the roller is maintained even when driving over uneven floors. This effect is explained below:
When the roller moves over uneven ground, the roller body moves differently. When the surface of the traffic area is raised, the pressure medium motor which acts on the roller from top to bottom is compressed and the increased actuating force built up in it would push the roller downward and a corresponding counterforce act on the roller. However, because the pressure in the pressure medium motor in question acting as an actuator is kept constant, the increased positioning force does not arise and the roller is pressed with constant force against the surface of the traffic area and maintains its preset floating position. The same thing happens when driving over a depression in the surface of the traffic area to be processed.
A further improvement in the adaptation of the roller of the device according to the invention to unevenness in the traffic area compared to the sweeping rollers contained in the prior art results from the fact that the roller can be tilted about an axis perpendicular to its axis. This additional tiltability of the roller transversely to its axis of rotation, i. H. transverse to its direction of movement over the traffic area to be processed, the roller is movably supported in all directions according to the invention and nevertheless maintains the desired height orientation relative to the surface of the traffic area to be processed.
Since, in the device according to the invention, the actuator (s) which carry the roller is (are) designed as a pressure medium motor which is acted upon by pressure medium (compressed air) with the interposition of a memory for the pressure medium, there is the advantage that Setting faster and easier than, for example, when using coil springs.
The invention further relates to a roller brush for working on traffic areas, in particular to cover surfaces such as dirt, snow, ice, paint, rubber abrasion or the like from the surface thereof. to be removed, with a brush core, on which, if necessary, processing elements provided on holding parts are fastened via holders provided on the outer circumference of the brush core, if necessary, so as to be pivotable about axes parallel to the brush axis.
Round brushes (roller brushes) are known in a wide variety of embodiments.
Thus, from DE-C-815 967, DE-AS 1 290 919, DE-C-1 057 562, GB-A-726 940, GB-A-1 251 259, CH-A- 353 026 and US-A-3 134 123, 3 200 430, 3 228 053, 3 715 773 and 4 498 210 embodiments for roller brushes are known, in which strip-shaped holders for bristle tufts can be inserted into usually axially parallel grooves of the brush body. In all of these known round brushes, the tufts of bristles are held so that they cannot be pivoted with respect to the brush body and can only deviate from their position radially projecting from the brush body with elastic deformation of the individual bristles themselves. This rigid mounting of the bristle tufts puts a heavy load on the bristles, so that they wear out or break off quickly.
In another group of round brushes, the bristle tufts are articulated on an essentially cylindrical carrier body (brush core), with no preferred pivot axis of the bristle tufts. For example, DE-C-286 512 shows a round brush, in which the tufts of bristles are attached to the brush body so that they can pivot in all directions. DE-C-352 183 describes a round brush serving as a matte brush, in which tufts of bristles are attached to a carrier part so that they can be pivoted in any direction over several rings. Another possibility of a swiveling connection of bristle tufts of a rotating round brush with its carrier body is shown in DE-C-289 181, in which pins with widening heads, to which the bristle tufts are attached, engage through holes in the tubular carrier part and there through the Heads are held. Finally, from DE-C-286 513, it is also known for a washing roller for street cleaning machines instead of the bristles to arrange rubber strips that are attached to the core of the roller brush via coil springs and nuts.
A roller brush for track construction machines is known from Austrian patent application 100/84 published on February 15, 1985, in which tubular broaching arms are attached to the brush core by a Kelmm screw connection. The tubular clearing arms are to be made of flexible material and have at their radially outer end no configuration preventing increased wear. In these known round brushes, the bristle tufts are not movably supported about defined pivot axes.
It has also already been proposed (cf. AT-B-305 350 and US-A-3 545 026) to design bristles in the case of round brushes so as to be pivotable about axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the brush, although the pivotability of the bristles only serves the purpose of Adjust bristles in a certain angular position to the radial plane. US-A-3 545 026 proposes a similar situation, in which the swiveling of the bristles is to take place automatically under the contact pressure of the roller brush on the object to be cleaned.
Finally, it is also known from GB-A-962 604 to attach bristle tufts to the core of a roller brush by means of clamps and elastic intermediate members provided there, so that the bristle tufts back and forth with elastic deformation of the connecting members about an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the roller brush can spring here. The brush construction described in GB-A-962 604 is, however, very complex with regard to the attachment of the bristle tufts with clamps and multiple rivet or screw connections, and the replacement of worn bristle tufts is also tedious.
A disadvantage of all these known roller brushes is that comparatively long bristles (processing elements) are used which are designed to be correspondingly elastic and therefore not very wear-resistant.
The known round brushes have the disadvantage that a compromise between abrasion resistance and the elastic properties of the bristles required for the intended use of the round brush must be sought when selecting the material for the bristles.
Holding parts for machining elements of roller brushes are known from EP-A 0 172 157.
The invention has for its object to provide a roller brush to which the processing elements or their holding parts, in particular holding parts of the type known from EP-A 0 172 157, can be easily attached, the brush elements or the processing elements provided on holding parts of such roller brushes should be easy to replace. The replacement of the processing elements becomes necessary after the wear thereof or when the equipment of roller brushes is to be adapted to the particular application of the roller brush. This roller brush should be able to be used advantageously in a device according to one or more of
According to the invention this object is achieved in that the brackets are designed as retaining strips running in the longitudinal direction of the axis of the roller brush, which are connected to the radially outer circumferential surface of the brush core by screws, gluing, welding or the like.
In contrast to the previously known embodiments of roller brushes in the roller brush according to the invention the holders are not used in axially parallel grooves of the roller brush, but are simply provided on their outer peripheral surface. This considerably simplifies the replacement of the processing elements because the fastening points of the holding strips or the connection between the holding strips and the processing elements are more accessible. In addition, in the roller brush according to the invention there is a much simpler construction of the brush core thereof, because longitudinal grooves in the outer peripheral surface thereof are no longer required.
It is preferred within the scope of the invention if the retaining strips are detachably connected to the brush core by means of screws, the screws preferably being Allen screws with lock nuts.
A particularly good fit of the holding strips on the roller core is achieved if the holding strips have surfaces which are concave and lie on the brush core in accordance with the curvature of the brush core.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the holding strips have outwardly facing, spaced-apart projections, the holes aligned parallel to the axis of the roller brush for receiving an attachment axis for the processing elements have elements or their holding parts. In addition to other possible types of fastening of holding parts or brush elements to the holding strips, this embodiment achieves a particularly simple connection between machining elements or their holding parts and the brush core, in which the machining elements can be pivotally held about axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the brush. It is preferred if an axially outermost extension of the retaining strip from the outside, essentially U-shaped bracket is provided at one end of the fastening axis and that a threaded part and a nut screwed onto it are provided at the other end of the fastening axis. This configuration ensures that the fastening axis is connected to the holding strip in a particularly secure manner and, moreover, a simple connection between the holding strip and the fastening axis is achieved.
According to another embodiment of the invention it is provided that mutually adjacent retaining strips are connected to the brush core in the longitudinal direction of the same. This embodiment achieves in a particularly simple manner that the processing elements fastened to adjacent holding bars are arranged offset in the direction of the axis of the roller brush, which is of particular advantage for the effectiveness of the roller brush (see also AT-B-366 126). .
The specific design of the roller core of the roller brush according to the invention is not primarily essential for the invention. However, it is preferred if the brush core is designed as a continuous tube. This embodiment, which allows a special stability of the roller core and thus a correspondingly weaker dimensioning of the holding strips, is preferably characterized in that longitudinal grooves are provided on the inner surface of the brush core, into which grooves provided on a drive shaft for the roller brush are provided. engage longitudinal ribs.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the brush core is formed by spaced rings. In this embodiment, which is characterized by a lower weight, it can be provided that the retaining strips are screwed directly to the rings. Alternatively, it can be provided that the rings are connected to one another by longitudinal connecting strips, the holding strips lying on the radially outer surfaces of the connecting strips being connected to them.
To connect the roller brush or its brush core to the drives and bearings assigned to it, couplings for connecting the same to a drive motor or the bearings of the roller brush can be provided on the end faces of the brush core. Alternatively, the roller brush can be pushed onto a correspondingly dimensioned drive shaft equipped with driving elements that ensure a positive connection to the core of the roller brush.
The invention further relates to a brush element with a processing element, which is connected via a holding part to the brush core of a roller brush, the processing element being fastened to the holding part in a slot in a radially outer head of the holding part. This brush element is characterized in that the processing element is a plate made of hard material, for. B. hard metal, which is fastened in a substantially fork-shaped carrier, for. B. is soldered, which is connected to the head of the holding part. An advantage of this brush element of the invention is that its processing element can be replaced particularly easily, if not the whole of the holding part and processing element existing brush element is replaced. In this connection it should be pointed out that the present invention also makes it possible to exchange holding strips which are connected to the brush elements as a unit.
It is preferred within the scope of the invention if the slot provided in the head of the holding part is undercut and the part of the processing element inserted into the slot is correspondingly positioned opposite one another. This improves the hold of the processing element in the holding part. It is preferred that the part of the processing element inserted into the slot has a rib pointing forward in relation to the direction of rotation.
The brush element according to the invention is preferably characterized in that the carrier is connected to the head of the holding part by at least one screw, a rivet or the like. The stress on the screw or the like can be reduced according to the invention in that the shaft of the screw, rivet or the like which fixes the machining element in the head of the holding part has a smaller diameter than the hole in the machining element.
Usually, the brush element according to the invention will be designed so that the forked part of the carrier, in which the machining element made of hard material is received, protrudes over the head of the holding part.
According to a preferred embodiment, the brush element according to the invention is characterized in that the carrier is asymmetrical in side view, the plate serving as the processing element being arranged symmetrically essentially to the plane of the surface of the carrier from which the cranked tine part extends.
Within the scope of the invention it can advantageously be provided that the processing element is arranged obliquely in the carrier, preferably with a free edge pointing obliquely forward with respect to the direction of rotation.
If the machining element is intended for ablative machining (e.g. to remove rubber debris), it is advisable to make the front surface of the carrier of the machining element concave in relation to the direction of rotation.

The embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 has a
The steerable
In the area of the
On the
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the
The
Furthermore, the
By acting on the piston in the
In addition, the
For this purpose, the articulated connection 31 between the
The support of the front end of the
The
The front support of the
To the weight of the drive motor for the
In this way, the
This tiltability is further facilitated in that the surfaces of the sliding
Another embodiment of the front support is shown in Fig. 7, in which the
Due to the described storage of the
By actuating the lower part of the
By setting the desired pressures with which the
It is also possible to fix the
If, instead of the double-acting
The embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in FIG. 8 has three roller brushes 16, which are mounted in a
On the
Each retaining
The
Instead of being formed by a continuous tube, the brush core can also be formed by spaced
The screws which connect the holding strips 106 to the
In both the embodiment of the
A brush element, which can preferably be used in connection with the

The
Depending on whether there is play between the radially
In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, the part of the
The
