Der mit der Erfindung erzielt Vorteil besteht insbesondere darin, daß durch den Borstenversatz die Haare mittels leicht schrägstehender Borsten geführt werden. Außerdem erfassen gegeneinander versetzte Borsten mehr Haare als nicht gegeneinander versetzte Borsten, weil ihre Endpunkte eine Fläche aufspannen, während die nicht versetzten Borsten mit ihren Endpunkten auf einer Geraden liegen. Vorteilhaft ist es auch, die gegeneinander versetzten Borsten abwechselnd groß und klein auszubilden.
