Love this changing the picture theme of Italy. Could you remaster it to be the full page like some are now. I've tried to make my google page empty to make them merge but there is still that white gap. I love this theme - any changing the pictures regularly are great, but this one is super cool. Please make them full pictures for even better enjoyment. Galilee

I live in Italy, I must be one of the few lucky 10 million people or so. I like that fact that this picture actually changes every day. Some themes won't change, even if specified. Beautiful Pictures!

This is almost the same photograph I took last year in Burano. The island is a quiet retreat from Venice.

The photo of brightly colored houses all in a row is from the island of Burano, which is near Venice. I was there recently and took dozens of photos (one almost exactly the same as this one) of the buildings, which are almost cartoon-like in their color intensity.

It would really be nice to know what part of Italy I'm DISCOVERING! I can't believe you go thru all this work to show these images and then NOT a line as to the area, village or "World Heritage" site I'm looking at. Please, complete the photo.

Can the entire image be seen as a background? I can only see a small portion at the top and bottom with my home page occupying most of the screen.

Looks like Burano to me, an island in the Venetian lagoon.

How do I find out where in Italy this theme picture was taken? Some places I recognize...I think the one yesterday was Venice...but frustrating not to know.

Ah, Italy... All these pictures are truly grand, I wish I could paint thousands of pictures of Italy. But whenever I do paint a picture of Italy there is always something missing... maybe I'll figure out what some day, but for now I'll content myself with all these beautiful pictures.

Love it, love everything about Italy; have been visiting on and off for more than 50 years and wish I could see more. Please add more scenes soon. Visit Rimini old town if you can as it has been pedestrianised and is wonderful.
